A New Beginning...

I wasn't exactly  traditional with today's move into the new year as I had expected because I was more or less 'wasted'...in a nutshell...I slept into the new year, but of course, what was to transpire as the norm did, with singing praises to God and prayers ushering us into the new year with my family...

On a rather sad note, just roughly about 3hrs before the new year, a bomb blast occurred in the FCT, Abuja claiming over a hundred lives with lots of people injured. A novel and innovative kind of reward (punishment) awaits the ochestrators of this dastardly act.

Our overly unreliable secondary source of power supply (Nepa/Phcn) were seriously at it again today and yesterday, doing only what they know how to do best--withholding power. This did not deter or desuade overly enrgectic Nigerians from their traditional serenade of firecreackers (Knockouts/Bangers).

Personally, I have lots of expectations and milestones to achieved this year, at least, starting with the Q1 of 2011.

This has been a sure fun way to kick-off the year...Hope I keep up this spirit of sharing.
